Jackson, WI (May 11, 2010) Rytec announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Wynd Star Doors – an Ohio-based manufacturer of automated doors for car wash environments.

Rytec manufactures highly specialized doors to address specific operational and environmental challenges in industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical and cold-storage applications. The acquisition extends Rytec’s reach into the automobile-related door market.

Today’s announcement coincides with the Car Care World Expo 2010, May 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rytec’s Wynd Star Doors will be on display as professionals with International Carwash Association gather at the world’s largest car wash convention and trade show.
