Sanitary

Stainless steel bottom bar and removable side covers permit full wipe down of all surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.

Safety

Full-width, replaceable PVC window provides excellent visibility. Thru-beam photo eyes and pneumatic, dual-chamber reversing edge are standard.

Opens at up to 50 inches per second with an adjustable closing speed to meet your exact specifications.

CONTROLLER

System 4 Door Controller (Standard)

Incorporating state-of-the-art motion control technology, the System 4 controller combines the flexibility and performance of AC Drive technology with the ease and precision of digital control.

ACTIVATORS

The System 4 door controller is designed to operate with many different types of activators, depending on the application and operating environment.

Floor Induction Loop (Optional)

Activation loops embedded into the concrete on both sides of the doorway substantially reduce operator error in opening and closing doors. With no moving or exposed parts, floor induction loops are extremely reliable.

Motion Detectors (Optional)

Motion detectors operate on microwave technology. They detect pedestrian and vehicle motion in a prescribed area. The detector sends a signal to the controller to open the door.

Presence Sensors (Optional)

Presence sensors detect pedestrians and vehicles in the area of the detector. Motion is not necessary. The sensor signals the controller to open the door.

Radio Controls (Optional)

A radio control consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The vehicle operator activates the transmitter which sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver then signals the controller to open the door.

Push Button (Optional)

The push button is generally used with pedestrian traffic and is typically mounted on the wall near the door. Pedestrians push the button as they approach the door, which signals the door to open.

Pull Cords (Optional)

The pull cords are switches mounted on the ceiling. Pedestrians and vehicle operators pull the cord as they approach the door, signaling the controller to open the door. Vehicle operators generally have to slow down to pull the cord.

Multiple Activators (Optional)

The System 4 door controller permits many activators to be used in multiple combinations. For example, a door can be opened by forklifts through induction floor loops and by pedestrians through a push button, each with independent closing times to allow for pedestrians passing through the door.

Door Panel Options

Panels are available in a varietry of colors and weights. Optional panel materials include 2-ply Rilon™, as well as USDA/FDA-compliant 2-ply, multifilament panel material.

Side Frame Options

Optional 316 stainless steel is available.

Hood Options

Optional roll and motor cover made from 304 or 316
stainless steel with a #4 finish.

Airlocks

In airlock applications, one controller with various activators permits doors to be interconnected so only one door is open at a time.

Rytec® Pharma-Roll™ Door

Standard Size

Up to 12 feet wide by 14 feet high.

Door Panel

Standard replaceable vinyl sections with up to four wind ribs and one full-width, replaceable PVC vision panel. Options include 2-ply Rilon™, as well as USDA/FDA-compliant 2-ply, multifilament panel material.

Side Frames

Fully bolt together aluminum side frames with removable covers with 304 stainless and #4 finish for easy cleaning. Optional 316 stainless steel is available. Dual NEMA 4X thru-beam electric photo eyes field installed. Fullheight weatherseal to provide a tight seal.

Bottom Bar

Clean-Set™, Break-Away™ stainless steel bottom bar releases in either direction upon impact without damage to the door. Standard dual cut-off switches shut off motor when bottom bar is impacted. Pneumatic, dual-chamber reversing edge standard on bottom bar. No exposed junction box on bottom bar. Loop seal hugs floor contour for tight seal. Bottom bar preassembled on doors at factory.

Optional Hood Assembly

Roll and motor cover made from 304 or 316 stainless steel with a #4 finish.

Drive System

Three-phase, variable speed, AC Drive provides soft acceleration and deceleration. Independent opening and closing speeds provide flexibility to accommodate any application.

Travel Speed

Opens at up to 50 inches per second.

Electrical Controls

System 4 controller housed in a NEMA 4 rated
enclosure with factory set parameters. Self-diagnostic features and a two-line,
32-character LCD display in English, Spanish or French provide quick and straight-forward installation and control adjustments. Programmable inputs and outputs accommodate special control requirements, including interlocks, without the need for additional electrical components.
