Economical Interior Door with
Full Vision and Tight Seal.
A superior performing alternative to impact doors and strip curtains, the Clear-Seal is a full-vision, high-speed roll door for interior applications.
In addition to the safety of top-to-bottom visibility at the threshold, it offers all the benefits associated with high-speed doors – improved traffic flow and efficiency, reduced energy and maintenance costs, and indeed, the ability to take a hit. In short, the Clear-Seal is a viable, economical option for obtaining high speed door performance, with a tight seal, for interior openings up to 10 feet wide by 10 feet high.
Threshold Safety
With its fullheight, clear PVC panels and dual electric photo eyes, the Clear-Seal provides great visibility and added safety for interior applications where fork trucks and other equipment are either crossing the threshold in both directions, crossing the door’s traffic lane, or both.
Fast
Opens at up to 50 inches per second for improved traffic flow.
Takes A Hit
Quick-Set,™ Break-Away™ tabs allow bottom bar to be
reset without tools in just seconds, virtually eliminating door downtime.
No Coil Cord
Retractable power cord within the bottom bar and side
column eliminates the need for an external coil cord.
Low Profile
Side columns are only 4 inches wide, with 4 inches of
projection. Fits virtually anywhere.
Crisp Lines
Extruded aluminum side columns and optional aluminum
hood provide an attractive frame for the door’s alternating clear and brightly-colored panels.CONTROLLER
System 3® Door Controller (Standard)
Incorporating state-of-the-art motion control technology, the
System 3 controller combines the flexibility and performance of AC Drive technology with the ease and precision of digital control.
ACTIVATORS
The System 3 door controller is designed to operate with many different types of activators, depending on the application and operating environment.
Floor Induction Loop (Optional)
Activation loops embedded into the concrete on both sides of the doorway substantially reduce operator error in opening and closing doors. With no moving or exposed parts, floor induction loops are extremely reliable.
Motion Detectors (Optional)
Motion detectors operate on microwave technology. They detect pedestrian and vehicle motion in a prescribed area. The detector sends a signal to the controller to open the door.
Presence Sensors (Optional)
Presence sensors detect pedestrians and vehicles in the area of the detector. Motion is not necessary. The sensor signals the controller to open the door.
Radio Controls (Optional)
A radio control consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The vehicle operator activates the transmitter which sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver then signals the controller to open the door.
Push Button (Optional)
The push button is generally used with pedestrian traffic and is typically mounted on the wall near the door. Pedestrians push the button as they approach the door, which signals the door to open.
Pull Cords (Optional)
The pull cords are switches mounted on the ceiling. Pedestrians and vehicle operators pull the cord as they approach the door, signaling the controller to open the door. Vehicle operators generally have to slow down to pull the cord.
Multiple Activators (Optional)
The System 3 door controller permits many activators to be used in multiple combinations. For example, a door can be opened by forklifts through induction floor loops and by pedestrians through a push button, each with independent closing times to allow for pedestrians passing through the door.
Optional Hood Assembly
aluminum hood covers roll and motor
Drive System Options
Single speed, two speed, and variable speed AC drive are available-- depending on the application.
Airlocks
In airlock applications, one controller with various activators permits doors to be interconnected so only one door is open at a time.Related Documents:
