The High-Speed Self-Repairing Roll Door
For Freezer Applications.
The Turbo-Seal Self-Repairing (SR) Freezer door is a high-speed, high performance roll door engineered to enhance the flow of traffic and conserve energy while virtually eliminating downtime in demanding, high traffic freezer environments. The extreme high speed of the door, combined with an unmatched full perimeter seal, help maintain temperatures and dramatically reduces heating and cooling costs.
And, because downtime isn\'t an option in critical cold storage/freezer operations, the Turbo-Seal SR Freezer door takes a hit from either direction, instantly releases and automatically resets itself--without any downtime, human interaction or damage to the door. The self repair feature minimizes interruptions to a facility’s operations and significantly reduces energy loss during the time it takes to repair the door.
Fast
Opens at up to 100 inches per second. Conserves energy and maintains constant climate control.
Energy Efficient
Full-height dual vinyl weather-seals in side column. Low temperature vinyl seals in head and bottom bar.
Safety
Dual electric photo eyes and pneumatic dual-chamber reversing edge in bottom bar are standard.
Self Repairing
If impacted from either direction, a pre-programmed, self-repairing feature automatically brings the door to the full open position where it is reset. The software then initiates the closing cycle – without user intervention.
Virtually Frost Free
Three different defrost system options and heated side columns help reduce frost build-up.
Low Profile
Side columns are only 8 inches wide with 6 inches of projection. Fits virtually anywhere.
CONTROLLER
System 4™ Door Controller (Standard)
Incorporating state-of-the-art motion control technology, the
System 4 controller combines the flexibility and performance of AC Drive technology with the ease and precision of digital control.
ACTIVATORS
The System 4 door controller is designed to operate with many different types of activators, depending on the application and operating environment.
Floor Induction Loop (Optional)
Activation loops embedded into the concrete on both sides of the doorway substantially reduce operator error in opening and closing doors. With no moving or exposed parts, floor induction loops are extremely reliable.
Motion Detectors (Optional)
Motion detectors operate on microwave technology. They detect pedestrian and vehicle motion in a prescribed area. The detector sends a signal to the controller to open the door.
Presence Sensors (Optional)
Presence sensors detect pedestrians and vehicles in the area of the detector. Motion is not necessary. The sensor signals the controller to open the door.
Radio Controls (Optional)
A radio control consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The vehicle operator activates the transmitter which sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver then signals the controller to open the door.
Push Button (Optional)
The push button is generally used with pedestrian traffic and is typically mounted on the wall near the door. Pedestrians push the button as they approach the door, which signals the door to open.
Pull Cords (Optional)
The pull cords are switches mounted on the ceiling. Pedestrians and vehicle operators pull the cord as they approach the door, signaling the controller to open the door. Vehicle operators generally have to slow down to pull the cord.
Multiple Activators (Optional)
The System 4 door controller permits many activators to be used in multiple combinations. For example, a door can be opened by forklifts through induction floor loops and by pedestrians through a push button, each with independent closing times to allow for pedestrians passing through the door.
Door Panel Options
Vinyl, 2-ply USDA/FDA compliant Rilon™, 2-ply Rilon™ and 3-ply Rilon™ panel material available.
Hood Options
Custom hood options available.
