The time required to install a Rytec commercial high-speed door can vary widely depending on the specific conditions of the installation site and the door model. In optimal conditions installation could be completed in as little as one day, however more complex installations can take multiple days. A door has two phases of installation – mechanical and electrical, which each can take typically a day to as little as several hours. Key factors affecting installation times are door model and size, wall condition and structural obstructions, electrical proximity, environmental conditions, new construction vs retrofits, coordination with other trades and more. Do not reset a high-performance door if it has visible physical damage, loose or broken components. Resetting in these conditions can cause further damage, create safety hazards and lead to more costly repairs. If the door is damaged turn off main power and apply lockout/tagout before repairing.

Avoid power cycling (shutting off main power to reset) as this can create additional issues or faults. Always use the STOP/RESET button.

It is safe to rest a high-performance door when it is intact with no visible physical damage, broken components, misalignments or impact damage. To reset the door press and hold the STOP/RESET button on the controller for 5 seconds. After resetting the controller will show the door model name (example: PredaDoor NXT) indicating the fault has been cleared and the door is ready for operation.
