Why the Spiral^® HZ^®

The Spiral^® HZ^® (Hurricane Zone) door is the first high-speed, high-performance hurricane-rated door certified for compliance with Miami-Dade County and the Florida Building Code. Heavy-duty reinforced hinges and rigid aluminum slats provide the strength required to handle hurricane-force winds.

Help reduce damage with an overhead door that is able to withstand winds up to 175 miles per hour and is large and small missile impact tested to last in extreme conditions. It also provides the security, speed, and reliability that all Spiral door models feature.

The Spiral HZ is the only high-speed, high-performance door certified for use within a high velocity hurricane zone (Miami-Dade County and Broward County) on the market. Miami-Dade County, Florida NOA No. 23-0929.05 and Florida Product Approval FL# FL28502-R3.
