Optimized Power & Performance
The System 4+ controller is engineered to maximize door performance through intelligent power management and precise movement control.
It continuously monitors power consumption and utilizes dynamic speed curves to optimize door performance. Programmable speed settings allow door movement to be matched to traffic patterns and environmental conditions, delivering optimized performance for every application. It supports full control of speed adjustments, enabling smooth, efficient door operation that helps reduce component wear and lower maintenance costs.
With multiple 24-volt circuits, the System 4+ controller provides nearly three times the capacity of the original controller, with more than 7 amps of available output and electronically resettable limiters to maximize power. This increased power helps support common ancillary components while providing greater flexibility for demanding installations.
The result? Reliable performance, efficient operation and reduced maintenance over the life of the door.
A Smarter User Experience
The System 4+ puts advanced functionality right at the operator’s fingertips. An enhanced user interface features a self-luminous display for easy readability in a variety of environments, while a three-button keypad enables total digital control of all door functions, parameters and positioning. Additional functions, including nighttime, Bluetooth, lock mode, and a customizable button - all offer even greater control and customization.
Whether adjusting settings during installation or fine-tuning performance in the field, the intuitive interface helps make operation and programming faster and easier.

When it comes to high-performance doors, minimizing downtime is critical. That’s why the System 4+ was designed with advanced diagnostics and connectivity built in.
The controller features a fully integrated CAN interface that supports current and future devices, including smart and cloud-based integrations – eliminating the need for expansion boards.
Bluetooth connectivity allows for fast setup and software updates. And flash memory provides improved diagnostics with access to door activity log files, statistical data and predictive maintenance. Plus, self-monitoring and self-diagnostic capabilities simplify troubleshooting.

Like every Rytec solution, the System 4+ is engineered for durability. The controller is housed in a rugged NEMA 4X polycarbonate enclosure and is UL/cUL listed. Designed and tested to handle extreme environments and conditions, it delivers dependable performance where reliability matters most.
Fresh Aesthetics
The BTA4 remote door controller, combined with the System 4+ in the Spiral® Pre-wired Package, provides access to all door controls in a smaller footprint at floor level that can be incorporated flush into walls or even the side column of most Spiral® door models (excluding the VP/LP Spiral® models).
